If you are scheduled work on the Feature Film “INDEPENDENCE DAY 2″ – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on TUESDAY 5/19/15.

 

–EXTRAS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BRING Cell Phones, Tablets or Computers to set!! This is a CLOSED SET and photography of any kind will be grounds for dismissal!!–

 

***Emergency number <img><img>(800) 241-0076 if you are lost, running late or are unable to make it to your booking for any reason (MUST have a VALID excuse and proof will be requested) – DO NOT TEXT this number! We will not acknowledge text messages, you have to CALL if you have an emergency! There IS a voicemail on this line so if you do not reach someone you need to leave a message!

 

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for a MINIMUM of 12 hours from the earliest call time on the day.  Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.

–this is just south of the Albuquerque Sunport (airport). Park as directed by the security gate and CHECK-IN AT THE BIG WHITE TENT.

 

*Make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that  you arrive at the check-in area at your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late!! You should arrive between 10-15 minutes early so that you are at the check-in area BEFORE your call time!!

Be sure to take your ID and all of your wardrobe with you to the Extras Holding/Check-in area. 

 

EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!! 

 

Wardrobe Instructions:

Be sure to read and follow ALL wardrobe instructions given to the best of your ability.

 

STANDINS: please wear comfortable casual clothing and bring a couple shirts in different muted earth tones (green, brown, grey, eggplant)

 

DIKEMBE GUARDS & NEW DIKEMBE GUARDS: please follow all instructions that you received at your costume fitting. Your outfit will be provided for you when you arrive on set. If you were instructed to bring any additional items, please do so. If you did not come to a wardrobe fitting, no problem, we will fit you into a costume when you get here.

 

AFRICAN VILLAGERS, DOMESTIC HELP/MAIDS, HOUSE AFRICAN WOMEN: please follow all instructions that you received at your costume fitting. Your outfit will be provided for you when you arrive on set. If you were instructed to bring any additional items, please do so. If you did not come to a wardrobe fitting, no problem, your outfit will be waiting for you. If you did not come to a fitting, please bring a couple choices of: Casual, contemporary, worn, older, faded (but not dirty or torn) colorful clothes.  NO BLUE, no logos, no hi heels.  Also, Traditional African clothing if you have some (If not, don’t worry about it).

 

ESD TECHS:  please follow all instructions that you received at your costume fitting.  Your outfit will be provided for you when you arrive on set. If you were instructed to bring any additional items, please do so. If you did not come to a fitting, your wardrobe will be provided.

Bring your driver’s license and know your social security number so we can complete paperwork to pay you. YOU MUST HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO WORK WITH US ON SET! If you don’t have a social security number please let us know ASAP as you will NOT be allowed to work!

—PLEASE make sure to EAT dinner before you come to set!! Meals are NOT being provided! There will be a cash bar available inside the venue for drink purchases—

 

**REMEMBER – This is a “SECRET SHOW”:  Please remember that this is an INVITE ONLY performance and YOUR NAME IS ON A LIST so the address cannot be given out to anyone who has not been pre-registered.  Its easier to check you guys into the show if we don’t have 1000 people show up who aren’t on the list!!  YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO GET IN LINE OR ENTER VENUE if you are not pre-registered and on the OLC list!! (which means, if you did not receive a booking confirmation email from us and/or did not reply to confirm that you received that email or confirm over the phoen with Michael/Tina, you are NOT on the list!!)

GROUP #1 - Line up time is 4:30pm-5:30pm.  For your own fun, don’t waste your day coming down too early.  Performers won’t be there until late afternoon and we won’t have our “Crowd Area” set up until around 4pm.  6pm is the line cut off and doors open.

 

GROUP #2 - Line up time is 8:30pm-9:30pm.  10pm is the line cut off and doors open.   For your own fun, don’t waste your day coming down too early.  We’ve got a separate artist taping earlier in the day and if you’re not on that list, we don’t want you to waste your time.  You will NOT be let in to the earlier show if you did not get pre-registered for it!!

Walk across Walking Bridge, taking stairs/elevator to 2nd Ave S

Go RIGHT at the base of the walking bridge SEEN is across from Joes Crab Shack

 

You’re more than welcome to find parking downtown on your own and closer to the Venue, but LOT R is the best we could do to accommodate such a large group.  Plus its FREE.  Save your cash for a cold beer.

 

DON’T FORGET to bring your ID, an umbrella if it rains, and don’t wear any black, White, or Logos, cash if you hit the bar,

 

– You will CHECK in with ANDREA from On Location Casting and be sure to let anyone who asks know that you are from On Location Casting as there may be other groups participating and we need to make sure you are properly accounted for.

Please DO NOT show up with wet, un-styled hair and no makeup!!  You should ALL LOOK HIP, STYLISH, cool – like people who are going out to the CMA Festival to see live bands and have a great time.  LOOK YOUR BEST – Dress to impress!!!

*Avoid white but don’t bring all black either(unless your character specifies that)

*NO LOGOS at all!

*NO black or white tshirts and please try to avoid all black or whiteas much as possible!

 

 

GROUP #1 & GROUP #2 AUDIENCE:  You guys get these artist’s style, so you know the vibe.  NO LOGOS.  and we mean NO LOGOS.  Any logo of any kind, college team, pro team, brands, beers, etc, we cannot allow.  You’ll be forced to remove that “Bulldogs” hat or turn that “Budweiser Shirt” inside out.  And we can’t show you on TV.  NO PLAIN BLACK OR WHITE shirts.  They look bad on camera.   Come dressed as you would for a night out at a live music venue. Clothing should be FUN, SPRING/SUMMER time attire – casual, comfortable, nice, stylish. You could also wear something with a country music flair (cowboy hats, cowboy boots, etc. – country, but not over the top) that you might wear to CMA Fest. You should look casual but still look like country music fans!

 

OTHER DETAILS:

Slight chance of rain, consider an umbrella. 
Have your ID with you.  Bar is 21&up. 
Don’t fret your place in line.  It is a small venue.  Not a bad seat in the house.
