If you are scheduled for work on the Feature Film “Untitled Richard Linklater” project (aka “TWITA”) – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on THURSDAY 10/23/14.   —updated as of 8:03pm

 

**We are NOT overbooked at all and since this is a period piece it will be difficult to replace anyone since you were all hand selected – there it is IMPERATIVE that you please show up for this booking!!!

–If you are scheduled to work on the CW series “The Messengers” in Albuquerque, NM -or- “Nashville” in Nashville, TN – These are NOT your details! These are for the “TWITA extras ONLY!–

 

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for a MINIMUM of 12 hours from the earliest call time on the day.  Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.

Filming will take place rain, shine, wind, etc. – regardless of the weather or early call time you are expected to be at work on set!!! DRIVE SAFELY and allow enough time for bad road conditions so that you can arrive to work on time safely. Even if it rains or storms – we are still filming!!

*Make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that  you arrive at the check-in area at your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late! You should arrive between 10-15 minutes early! Be sure to take your ID and all of your wardrobe with you to the Extras Holding/Check-in area. 


Wardrobe Instructions:

Be sure to read and follow ALL wardrobe instructions given to the best of your ability.

Everyone should come wearing your favorite 1st outfit and bring 2-3 other complete changes! If you look in your closet and say “ I don’t know if this is what they want me to wear” bring it with you and the Costume Dept. will make the final decision for you.

 

***GENERAL INFO:

**EVERYONE MUST WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES!! ABSOLUTELY NO FLIPFLOPS or SANDALS!!

*Never bring clothing with LOGO’s, intense patterns or super bright colors

*Avoid white but don’t bring all black either(unless your character specifies that)

*Bring only clean clothing without damages (unless specifically asked for)

*DO NOT bring dirty/damaged clothing or clothing that DOES NOT fit you.

*Make sure you bring clothes that really fit you. 

*Bring at least 3 complete outfits.

*AND put together the outfit you feel is most appropriate for the scene and that you feel good in and wear that here (of course also bring options)!


Things To Avoid: Bringing the proper clothing not only helps us but it will help your chances of getting more screen time. Read your characters description and only bring clothing that fits your scene.

*Never bring clothing with LOGO’s, intense patterns or super bright colors.

How much to bring and how to transport it:

*Bring at least 3 complete outfits. Including foundation garments, jewelry, belts, etc

*Come to work wearing the outfit most fitting for the scene and that you feel good in.

*Bring your options on hanger or in a suitcase (NOT in a dirty wrinkled ball)

 

For ALL EXTRAS (College Students, Jolly Fox Patrons, Pool Hall Patrons, Adult Bar Patrons, Bartender, Rec Center Manager)

- please do the BEST you can with these suggestions, trying to stay away from anything modern. Bring an option of normal casual and also an option of PREPPY casual (this is a fraternity/sorority bar and rec center so you should make sure to have a Frat Guy or Sorority Girl look!! (although we can not use actual logos from real sorority/frats)

 

Please bring 2 or 3 options only.  1979-1980, late summer casual.

For Men:  high waisted pants or shorts.  Plain T-shirts, casual shirts.  Also casual western-wrangler jeans and  Western shirts. Cowboy hats and caps.  Converse, Vans, older style Adidas, top-siders and boots.

 

For Women:  Highwaisted pants or shorts.  Plain T-shirts,casual shirts and halter tops.  Simple sandals, Candies, Dr. Scholls, Keds, Converse and cowboy Boots.

 

Please no logos or designs on shirts or Hats

- *make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that you arrive at the check-in area at your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late! EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!! Please DO NOT show up with wet, un-styled hair and no makeup!! Ladies – Makeup should not be outlandish or overdone. Men – Facial hair must either be clean-shaven or neatly groomed. Don’t look too scruffy!!

 Wardrobe Instructions for STAND-ins:

STAND-INS should ALWAYS bring the following colors of tops for color cover: Black, Gray, off white, dark Green, Blue Navy,, Brown, Red, Light Green,

-Always wear pants. NO shorts/ skirts please. AND CLOSED TOE SHOES~

- Please also carry your color cover with you at all times on set.  We cannot hold anything for you.

ORDERLY AND NURSES: please bring Cardigan (ladies), and long sleeved T- shirts and sneakers, crocs, soft soled shoes, also a change of casual clothing

PATIENTS: Robes, Slippers, Pajamas, sweats, and a casual change

VISITORS, GRANDKIDS, SONS, DAUGHTERS: 3-4 COMPLETE changes of everyday casual attire, business casual option, etc.

DOCTORS: Business casual options (WE WILL HAVE LAB COATS) slacks, ties, button front shirts, Khakis, Blouses, skirts, shoes, glasses etc

BAR PATRONS AND BARTENERS: New People Please bring options in earth tones for your age range – such as college student, etc.  IF YOU WORKED BEFORE – same as before plus new options

Be sure to read and follow ALL wardrobe instructions given to the best of your ability.

Everyone should come wearing your favorite 1st outfit and bring 2-3 other complete changes! If you look in your closet and say “ I don’t know if this is what they want me to wear” bring it with you and the Costume Dept. will make the final decision for you.

**EVERYONE MUST WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES!! ABSOLUTELY NO FLIPFLOPS or SANDALS!!

*Never bring clothing with LOGO’s, intense patterns or super bright colors

*Avoid white but don’t bring all black either(unless your character specifies that)

*Bring only clean clothing without damages (unless specifically asked for)

*DO NOT bring dirty/damaged clothing or clothing that DOES NOT fit you.

*Make sure you bring clothes that really fit you.

*AND put together the outfit you feel is most appropriate for the scene and that you feel good in and wear that here (of course also bring options)!

JUSTIN’s PUNK FRIENDS: edgy, punky attire. Should be something along the lines of the Sex Pistols or the Ramones. Dark colors. Keep in mind that it is supposed to be 1980 so nothing modern. You can follow the general guidelines listed for all extras but add a PUNK flair to those ideas. (Coulton & Lucius – our wardrobe ladies liked what you are wearing in your talent profile photo so wear that and bring options!)

 

For ALL EXTRAS (College Students, Car Drivers)- please do the BEST you can with these suggestions, trying to stay away from anything modern.

Please bring 2 or 3 options only.  1979-1980, late summer casual.

For Men:  high waistedpants or shorts.  Plain T-shirts, casualshirts.  Also casual western-wranglerjeans and  Western shirts. Cowboy hatsand caps.  Converse, Vans, older styleAdidas, top-siders and boots.

 

For Women:  Highwaisted pants or shorts.  Plain T-shirts,casual shirts and halter tops.  Simplesandals, Candies, Dr. Scholls, Keds, Converse and cowboy Boots.

**IF YOU WORKED on TUESDAY at the Festival – please WEAR THE SAME OUTFIT THAT YOU WORE on TUESDAY!!!

Everyone attending the FESTIVAL (that is Festival Goers, Musician Types, Bartender, Vendors) should bring choices of clothing they would wear to an outdoor music festival in mid- November (yes, mid-November) in Nashville. You are NOT country music fans – you are East Nashville HIPSTERS (funky, alternative, hip, edgy, eccentric, etc.)

This could be jeans/ t-shirts/ sweaters/ hoodies/ vests- fleece or puffy/ lightweight puffy jackets or fleece jackets.
Dress according to the event and to the weather.  Please NO HEAVY winter coats.  NO LOGOS.  NO ALL BLACK.
Hats, beanies, scarves, any accessories are welcome- again no LOGOS on any hats.
Please stick to a muted Fall / Autumn color palate.  Color is good- we want that, just nothing too bright.  No large bright prints.
Event staff, Roadies & Security should bring or wear dark or black jeans, & comfortable shoes and a solid t-shirt or long sleeve t-shirt- we will give out a hoodie that either says SECURITY or STAFF. (*please also bring changes of clothing for Festival Goers)
