We are shooting our movie on HD, which makes colors very true to what the eye sees.  Therefore, whites and blacks are acceptable, but please don’t go overboard.  Try to avoid white and black please!! Big chunks of white and/or black  are a no-no!   Florescent and extremely bright colors are a no-no-and-no!

Our story takes place during the hot, HOT days of August in a fictitious town called Pico Mundo, set in California.   The time period is contemporary – now, 2011.  The setting is a smallish, quaint, beautiful, friendly gently prosperous desert town where everyone knows and really likes one another.  Our town is a truly wonderful, happy, healthy place to live, raise your kids, enjoy your life.  A piece of heaven on earth, but then there are these creepy things that almost happen….

***PLEASE FOLLOW ALL GENERAL GUIDELINES LISTED ABOVE and SEE BELOW FOR SPECIFIC INFORMATION FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL CHARACTER***

Please bring purses, cardigans, delicate  jewelry. The nurses are friends of our leading lady, Stormy, all professional women quite confident of their place in the world.  Do the best you can with these notes and also bring a few changes of wardrobe listed for the Diner Customers.

DINER CUSTOMERS, DRIVERS with cars:  THE GRILL where we are filming is THE spot to grab breakfast, a coffee, the paper, greet your townspeople friends.  Dress the look of our town, mixing the idea that some people will be going off to work, some off to a relaxing summer day, some just hanging out, some gathering sustenance to do their art, etc.

DINER CUSTOMERS & DRIVERS with cars:  THE GRILL where we are filming is a cool happening hangout for our Pico Mundo locals.  Burgers, shakes, great music.
