If you are scheduled work on the Feature Film “Novitiate” – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on THURSDAY 1/28/16 .

–**If you are scheduled to work on the ABC series “Nashville” – these are NOT your details!! Check the Notes with the heading that says “Nashville”. These details are ONLY for those booked on the film “Novitiate”.

**All times are still subject to change so you absolutely MUST RE-CHECK THIS PAGE AGAIN before YOU LEAVE FOR WORK!!! Make sure to REFRESH your browser!! We are not responsible if you show up too early or too late because you did not double check for you FINAL confirmed Call Time!! CHECK BACK!!!**

You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for until we are finished filming for the day/night, whatever that time ends up being – usually 8-12 hours or so. Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.

Filming will take place rain, shine, wind, snow, etc. – regardless of the weather or early call time you are expected to be at work on set!!! DRIVE SAFELY and allow enough time for bad road conditions so that you can arrive to work on time safely. Even if it rains, storms or snows – we are still filming!!

Parking: please park in the Visitor lot (LOT A) next to the Laskey Building (see Campus map for lot location). If there are no spaces available, look for a space in LOT B (see map). If you can not find parking in either of these lots, it is OK to park at the parking meters with the red hoods on them as long as there isn’t some sort of truck or equipment parked there – just MAKE SURE to put a large piece of paper visible on your dashboard that says “NOVITIATE EXTRA-and list your name”. If you are unable to find a space at a covered meter – find the closest available free parking that you can. ALTERNATIVELY – if you can not find free parking and choose to park in garage parking, there is one located at 2043 Scarritt Pl (Wesley Place Garage) that will charge you $10.00 up front to park and Production will reimburse you (we are SO sorry for this inconvenience!) **ALLOW plenty of time to find parking as it will take awhile!

*Make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that you arrive at the check-in area at your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late!! You should arrive between 10-15 minutes early so that you are at the check-in area BEFORE your call time!!

Be sure to take your ID and all of your wardrobe with you to the Extras Holding/Check-in area.

EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!!

Hair: if you were given instructions by the Hair Dept, they would like you to come “hair ready” with your hair styled as instructed. If you were not given instructions, please put rollers in your hair tonight or curl your hair (in some fashion) with rollers or a curling iron before you head to work so that it has some body

ALL NUN Wardrobe: black opaque tights and black shoes.

Make-up for ALL Nuns (Novices, Professed, Cathleen’s Sisters) : come with natural no make-up look. NO MAKEUP ladies!! However, DO bring Chapstick or some non colored balm for lips. It’s cold and everyone is getting chapped lips.

DIRECTIONS from “BIG I” (Intersection of I25 & I40) to NOVA BUILDING:

 

1. From the “Big I” head SOUTH on I-25S. Drive for ± 5.3 miles.

 

2. Take Exit 220 for Rio Bravo Blvd. At traffic light turn LEFT/EASTonto Rio Bravo Blvd. Go ± 0.2 mi.

3. At T junction traffic light turn RIGHT/SOUTH onto UniversityBlvd. Drive ± 2 miles.

4. After passing both snake sculptures in the median and toppingthe hill, take immediate first LEFT/EAST onto Crick Ave. Drive ±0.7 miles.

5. Follow the road LEFT/NORTH onto Hawking Dr. Drive ± 0.3miles.

6. Turn LEFT/WEST and then an immediate RIGHT/NORTH intoparking lot. Park as directed and walk to extras check-in andcatering.

 

–Follow the yellow signs that have an @ symbol

 

–If you need specific directions from YOUR house, please visit mapquest.com, google maps or punch this address into your GPS.

 

*Make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that  you arrive at the check-in area at your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late!! You should arrive between 10-15 minutes early so that you are at the check-in area BEFORE your call time!!

 

 

Be sure to take your ID and all of your wardrobe with you to the Extras Holding/Check-in area.

 

 

EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!! IF you are NEW military male and have not yet received a hair cut, you will be given a military style haircut on set when you arrive (MEN only!)

 

Wardrobe Instructions:

 **DO NOT GO STRAIGHT TO WARDROBE WITHOUT FIRST CHECKING IN & GETTING YOUR VOUCHER!!! YOU MUST BE TAKEN TO WARDROBE BY A SET PA and SHOULD NOT GO BY YOURSELF WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION!!!!

 

Be sure to read and follow ALL wardrobe instructions given to the best of your ability.

 

STANDINS: please wear comfortable casual clothing and bring a couple shirts in different muted earth tones (green, brown, grey, eggplant, tan)

 

CIVILIANS:  **PLEASE BRING THREE TO FOUR CHOICES OF WARDROBE**

Men: Jeans, khaki pants and shorts, cargo pants and cargo shorts, hoodie sweatshirts, plain tee shirts with no logos, polo shirts, casual long and short sleeve shirts. colors should be : navy, grey, light blue, maroon olive green, rust. NO RED, WHITE, OR BLUE SCREEN BLUE.
Women:  jeans, khaki pants, casual dresses, casual button down tops long sleeve and short sleeve, tee shirts, casual knot tops. solid shirts preferably instead of printed shirts. no logos on any tee shirts. colors should be navy grey, maroon, rust, olive, grey,  off white, light blue, muted colors  are better . NO RED WHITE, OR BLUE SCREEN BLUE
Kids:  jeans, shorts, tee shirts,  polos, leggings, casual clothing. no logos NO RED WHITE OR BLUE SCREEN BLUE. The kids can have more color in their wardrobe: soft yellow, light blue, purple, lavender, burnt orange, soft pink, mint green.

 

 

 

ALL PRE-FIT EXTRAS (who came in for a Costume Fitting): please follow all instructions that you received at your costume fitting and bring any items that you were asked to bring. You should come camera ready with hair and makeup done (men should be clean-shaven) & wearing your approved outfit. (If costumes is providing it, it will be available when you arrive on set)

 

ALL NON PRE-FIT MILITARY and TECH EXTRAS (who did NOT come in for a Costume Fitting): please have black socks, white tshirt (NO LOGOS) and be sure to wear underwear

PAYROLL INFORMATION:

Bring your driver’s license and know your social security number so we can complete paperwork to pay you. YOU MUST HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO WORK WITH US ON SET! If you don’t have a social security number please let us know ASAP as you will NOT be allowed to work!

 

Bring a black or blue ink pen with you to complete your voucher

If you are scheduled for work on the Feature Film “Untitled Richard Linklater” project (aka “TWITA”) – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on FRIDAY 11/21/14.

 

**We are NOT overbooked at all and since this is a period piece it will be difficult to replace anyone since you were all hand selected – there it is IMPERATIVE that you please show up for this booking!!!

 

***Emergency number <img><img>972-998-5702. YOu MUST call this number if you are lost, running late or are unable to make it to your booking for any reason!

 

 

–If you are scheduled to work on the CW series “The Messengers” in Albuquerque, NM -or- “Nashville” in Nashville, TN – These are NOT your details! These are for the “TWITA extras ONLY!–

 

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for a MINIMUM of 12 hours from the earliest call time on the day.  Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.

Filming will take place rain, shine, wind, etc. – regardless of the weather or early call time you are expected to be at work on set!!! DRIVE SAFELY and allow enough time for bad road conditions so that you can arrive to work on time safely. Even if it rains, snows or storms – we are still filming!!

 

**Please POST your first & last name at the end of this post so that we know you picked up your booking details. We are not overbooked so it’s important that we know EVERYONE got their information and will be there!!  Not posting does NOT mean that you don’t have to show up!! Everyone else will be divided up alphabetically by their last names or by their role. Please look carefully for your name and if you don’t see it – it does NOT mean that you aren’t booked, it means that you should take the time listed for your last name or your role. If you see your name – that is your time. If you don’t see your name, you ARE still booked just come at the time listed for your last name or character–

Everyone should come wearing your favorite 1st outfit and bring 2-3 other complete changes! If you look in your closet and say “ I don’t know if this is what they want me to wear” bring it with you and the Costume Dept. will make the final decision for you.

 

***GENERAL INFO:

*Never bring clothing with LOGO’s, intense patterns or super bright colors

*Avoid white but don’t bring all black either(unless your character specifies that)

*Bring only clean clothing without damages (unless specifically asked for)

*DO NOT bring dirty/damaged clothing or clothing that DOES NOT fit you.

*Make sure you bring clothes that really fit you. 

*AND put together the outfit you feel is most appropriate for the scene and that you feel good in and wear that here (of course also bring options)!


–LADIES: come with your hair and makeup already done looking GORGEOUS and sexy!! Please do NOT show up with no makeup and your hair in a ponytail (unless you were instructed to do that at your fitting!)–

 

Bringing the proper clothing not only helps us but it will help your chances of getting more screen time. Read your characters description and only bring clothing that fits your scene.

 

**IF YOU CAME TO A WARDROBE FITTING and/or HAVE BEEN PRE-FIT for this scene – please follow ALL instructions that you were given at your fitting and bring any items (accessories, shoes, makeup, hairstyle, etc) that you were instructed to bring!!!! If you were told that an outfit would be provided for you , it will be on set when you arrive but please make sure you bring any additionally requested items***


–IF you did NOT come to a wardrobe fitting and were NOT Pre-Fit for this scene – do the best you can to bring options of the following types of clothing. (we know you may not have it, just do the best you can and wardrobe will help out–

 

For ALL EXTRAS -  please do the BEST you can with these suggestions, trying to stay away from anything modern.

Please bring 2 or 3 options only.  1979-1980, late summer casual. You should ALSO bring warm clothes/gear to wear while waiting for the scenes.  We will not have enough warming coats and such for everyone so you should bring their own.

 

For Men:  high waistedpants or shorts.  Plain T-shirts, casualshirts.  Also casual western-wranglerjeans and  Western shirts. Cowboy hatsand caps.  Converse, Vans, older styleAdidas, top-siders and boots.

 

For Women:  Highwaisted pants or shorts.  Plain T-shirts,casual shirts and halter tops.  Simplesandals, Candies, Dr. Scholls, Keds, Converse and cowboy Boots.
