If you are scheduled work on the ABC Television series “Nashville” – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on FRIDAY 10/30/15 —SOME TIMES HAVE CHANGED – PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TIME!!

–STROBE LIGHTS WILL BE USED DURING FILMING TODAY! Certain persons with epilepsy or photosensitivity may suffer seizures if exposed to flashing/strobe lighting. IF you have any condition that might be affected by or cause seizures from the use of strobe lights – you should NOT work at this performance!!–

 

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for until we are finished filming for the day/night, whatever that time ends up being – usually 8-12 hours or so.  Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.

 

Filming will take place rain, shine, wind, snow, etc. – regardless of the weather or early call time you are expected to be at work on set!!! DRIVE SAFELY and allow enough time for bad road conditions so that you can arrive to work on time safely. Even if it rains, storms or snows – we are still filming!!  

 

*EVERYONE (even if you’ve worked before!) – Please BRING A PHOTOCOPY of your Drivers License with you to set!  If you are unable to make a copy, we can do so for you on set but it will be time consuming so please do TRY to bring one with you!* ***EVERYONE MUST have VALID PROOF that you are LEGAL to work as an extra in the US! We can NOT accept foreign passports without the appropriate work visa or green card!! You MUST have TWO forms of non-expired ID. You MUST have a valid social security number!**’

 

**Please POST your first & last name at the end of this post so that we know you picked up your correct booking details. We are not overbooked so it’s important that we know EVERYONE got their information and will be there!! Not posting does NOT mean that you don’t have to show up!! We will be expecting you whether you post or not, it’s just helpful to us to know that you got your details!! WE ARE COUNTING ON YOU TO SHOW UP FOR WORK!!

–If you are riding with someone who has a different call time than your start time – you will need to come at the earlier person’s time, HOWEVER, you will not be checked in until your actual start time. Waiting and coming at the later time listed will make you late and you will likely be turned away. *EVERYONE – Make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that you arrive at the check-in area at your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late!! You should arrive between 10-15 minutes early so that you are at the check-in area BEFORE your call time!! **YOU WILL BE SHUTTLED TO LOCATION FROM THIS LOT – be several minutes early to allow for shuttle time to check-in area and make sure to take your ID and all of your wardrobe options with you on the shuttle!!!

 


EVERYONE – Be sure to take your ID and all of your wardrobe with you to the Extras Holding/Check-in area.  

 

EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!! Please DO NOT show up with wet, un-styled hair and no makeup!! Ladies – Makeup should not be outlandish or overdone. Men – facial hair should be and tidy, not overly scruffy!

 

 

Wardrobe Instructions:

Be sure to read and follow ALL wardrobe instructions given to the best of your ability.

 

***GENERAL INFO:

*Never bring clothing with LOGO’s, intense patterns or super bright colors

*Avoid white but don’t bring all black either(unless your character specifies that)

*Bring only clean clothing without damages (unless specifically asked for)

*DO NOT bring dirty/damaged clothing or clothing that DOES NOT fit you.

*Make sure you bring clothes that really fit you.

*Bring at least 3 complete outfits.

*AND put together the outfit you feel is most appropriate for the scene and that you feel good in and wear that here (of course also bring options)!

 

How much to bring and how to transport it:

*Bring at least 3 complete outfits. Including foundation garments, jewelry, belts, etc

*Come to work wearing the outfit most fitting for the scene and that you feel good in.

*Bring your options on hanger or in a suitcase (NOT in a dirty wrinkled ball)

 

Everyone should come wearing your favorite 1st outfit and bring 2-3 other complete changes! If you look in your closet and say “ I don’t know if this is what they want me to wear” bring it with you and the Costume Dept. will make the final decision for you.

 

As an extra we ask that you bring clothing that will compliment our scenes and distinguish you as the group or role you have been booked for. We ask as always you bring several options. We do not allow any clothing, shoes, and hats with logos, bright white, solid red, or bright/neon colors, or very loud patterns, so please keep this in mind. No strapless items that aren’t accompanied by a jacket. No shorts unless we request it for a specific scene. Leggings are not pants! Please always bring comfortable shoes to wear off set. Unless otherwise noted, no open toed or sandal footwear is allowed and it is mandatory that you keep footwear on at all times on set! Always bring seasonally appropriate clothing which is now FALL. And unless otherwise instructed, always bring enough options for two full changes.

 

 

**IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT IF YOU WORKED ON THURSDAY, YOU MUST WEAR THE SAME CLOTHING. WE MUST MAINTAIN CONTINUITY SINCE THIS IS ESSENTIALLY THE SAME DAY!

THESE SCENES TAKE PLACE OUTSIDE. BRING OPTIONS THAT REFLECT THE CURRENT SEASON. BRING AN UNDER-LAYER SUCH AS A LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRT OR THERMAL AND HAVE JACKETS BECAUSE IT WILL BE COLD ONCE THE SUN SETS. **Please also bring a blanket that you can use to sit on as a ‘prop’ for the concert and might also use to cover up with if it gets cold between filming times (there will be an indoor holding area for comfort but when we’re filming you will have to stay outside)
**EVERYONE – In addition to the wardrobe listed for your main role – BRING OPTIONS LISTED for VIPs as we will be pulling VIPs from the group of extras working today!! If you want to be considered as a VIP, bring clothing listed for VIPs!

 

 

Venue Security: Please bring black pants or jeans, black belt, black work shoes. Shirt, jacket, and hat will be provided. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)
Nashville Police: Please bring a white undershirt, black socks, black workwear sneakers that could be worn with a police uniform. The rest will be provided. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)
Roadies/Marcus Roadies: Cool hip backstage workwear. Shades of black, dark grey, browns, deep greens, navy are always good. Dark jeans or pants, shoes and accessories to compliment the look. Bring jacket options. As well as scarves and hats. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)

Sound Techs, Camera Operators, GMA Crew (Grip/Electric) and Construction Workers: Shades of dark grey, browns, deep greens, dark burgundy, deep purples, navy are always good. Bring an option of long sleeve and short sleeve t-shirts for layering (nothing too bright), henleys and thermals, lightweight basic/solid sweaters or pullovers, hoodies, button down long sleeve shirts, Dark jeans or pants, appropriate work footwear. Bring jackets as well. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)

Stage Manager: Nice button down long sleeve dress shirt, fall blazer or cool jacket, t-shirts for layering, lightweight sweaters, jeans or semi-casual pants, shoes and belt to compliment the look. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)
GMA PAs: Long sleeve button down shirts or tops, lightweight sweaters, fall jackets, t-shirts and henleys for layering, hoodies, shoes, belt and hat to compliment the look. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)
Lawyers: Conservative and professional attire. Fall weather. Exterior. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)
Women – Skirt/pant suits, button down blouses, blazer, cardigan twin-set, shoes, belt, simple jewelry. Topcoat or trench coat please.
Men – Navy, dark grey or black suit, button down shirt, tie, shoes and belt to compliment the look. Topcoat or trench coat please.

Women - Cool long sleeve tops and blouses, lightweight sweaters, dark denim, casual pants in muted colors, jackets and blazers, shoes and accessories to compliment your look. Scarves and hats please.
Men - Cool hip long sleeve button down shirts, long sleeve and short sleeve t-shirts for layering, henleys, jeans, casual pants in muted colors such as khaki, brown, military green, etc, blazers, casual fall jackets, shoes or boots to compliment the look. Scarves and hats please.
Backstage VIPs: Rocker gone country
Women – Cool, Hip blouses or tops, jeans or similar pant options, sweaters, tees long and short for layering, leather jackets or jackets/blazers, pumps, booties or similar, jewelry to compliment the look. Scarves and hat options please.
Men – Long sleeve button down shirts, henleys, t-shirts long and short for layering, cool fall jackets and blazers, jeans or similar pants, shoes, boots and jewelry to compliment the look. Scarves and hats please.

Bring your driver’s license and know your social security number so we can complete paperwork to pay you. YOU MUST HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO WORK WITH US ON SET! If you don’t have a social security number please let us know ASAP as you will NOT be allowed to work!

General Guidelines

 

·      We do not recommend that you bring any expensive or valuable item. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

 

·      Please let us know immediately if your schedule changes and you become unavailable – so that we have time to replace you.

 

·      Please do not approach the actors. They are working. Pictures or video from cell phones are strictly prohibited. Taking a picture or video on set are grounds for immediate dismissal and will not be tolerated. Do not bring cameras of any kind to the set.

 

-       Do not bring anyone with you that was not hired by Extras Casting. Only minors are allowed to bring ONE parent or guardian. Absolutely NO family or friends who aren’t booked in advance can come to set with you!!

 

Background Actors’ Rules regarding Photos and Press:

Please remember that all unauthorized on-set photography is forbidden (including from cell phones).

Background actors may not blog or tweet about their experiences on set.

 

·      If a journalist approaches you about your work on the film, please contact the casting office, before you provide any information about the show or your participation in it. 

Ignoring these guidelines will undermine your affiliation with both the production and future local casting.
