If you are scheduled for VOLUNTEER work on the CMA CHEVY Red Carpet SHOOT – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on SUNDAY 11/1/15  **DON’T FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK ONE HOUR for Daylight Savings Time (at midnight on Saturday night!)**

 

—PLEASE make sure to EAT dinner before you come to set!! Meals are NOT being provided! Snacks may or may not be available since this is a very short shoot—

 

**REMEMBER – This is an INVITE ONLY event and YOUR NAME IS ON A LIST to attend.

Failure to do so (even if you send an email) will result in you being listed as a NO-SHOW!! We are counting on you to show up so do hope that none of you have any emergency situations!

 

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set for the duration of the shoot (roughly about 3 – 3.5 hours). You should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will mean that you will forfeit your free parking voucher and will have to pay for your own parking. It MAY also be cause for not being booked in the future (unless you have a legitimate emergency or reason for leaving early)

Filming will take place RAIN or SHINE – regardless of the weather or call time you are expected to be on set!!! DRIVE SAFELY and allow enough time for uncertain road conditions so that you can arrive on time safely.

I-40 on the west side of town is CLOSED,PLEASE READ ALTERNATE DIRECTIONS

SHELBY EXIT: Exit onto SHELBY AVE, turning toward downtown Go over Korean Veterans Bridge into downtown Nashville Continue into Roundabout, taking first RIGHT onto 8th Ave S Turn RIGHT onto Demonbreun Turn RIGHT onto 6th Ave S under Music City Center Turn RIGHT into Garage, pull a ticket & leave it in your car. Production will provide you another ticket for exiting garage walk to 6th Ave Set in the middle of tunnel. Talent check in at Talent Table 

 

 

DON’T FORGET to bring your ID, an umbrella if it rains, and don’t wear any black, White, or Logos, c

 

– You will CHECK in with Tina or Andrea from On Location Casting and be sure to let anyone who asks know that you are a Volunteer Extra from On Location Casting as there may be other groups participating and we need to make sure you are properly accounted for.

 

*Make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that  you arrive at the check-in area approx 10-15 minutes BEFORE your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late!  YOu will NOT be permitted to participate once filming has started!  **IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE REGISTERED LIST and DID NOT CONFIRM YOUR BOOKING – YOU WILL NOT BE admitted!!!

 

EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!! Please DO NOT show up with wet, un-styled hair and no makeup!!  

 

Wardrobe Instructions:

Be sure to read and follow ALL wardrobe instructions given to the best of your ability.

 

It is NOT necessary to bring multiple wardrobe changes – you will be filmed in the outfit you arrive in.

*NO LOGOS at all!

*NO WHITE SHIRTS at all and please try to avoid all black or white as much as possible!

*NO BRAD PAISLEY SHIRTS!!

 

 

RED CARPET FANS:  You should dress casual, comfortable and WARM as if you were waiting outside at a red carpet event for a glimpse of your favorite country stars. Nothing fancy, just be comfortable. Layer up, it’ll be chilly

***GENERAL INFO:

*Never bring clothing with LOGO’s, intense patterns or super bright colors

*Avoid white but don’t bring all black either(unless your character specifies that)

*Bring only clean clothing without damages (unless specifically asked for)

*DO NOT bring dirty/damaged clothing or clothing that DOES NOT fit you.

*Make sure you bring clothes that really fit you.

*Bring at least 3 complete outfits.

*AND put together the outfit you feel is most appropriate for the scene and that you feel good in and wear that here (of course also bring options)!

 

How much to bring and how to transport it:

*Bring at least 3 complete outfits. Including foundation garments, jewelry, belts, etc

*Come to work wearing the outfit most fitting for the scene and that you feel good in.

*Bring your options on hanger or in a suitcase (NOT in a dirty wrinkled ball)

 

Everyone should come wearing your favorite 1st outfit and bring 2-3 other complete changes! If you look in your closet and say “ I don’t know if this is what they want me to wear” bring it with you and the Costume Dept. will make the final decision for you.

 

As an extra we ask that you bring clothing that will compliment our scenes and distinguish you as the group or role you have been booked for. We ask as always you bring several options. We do not allow any clothing, shoes, and hats with logos, bright white, solid red, or bright/neon colors, or very loud patterns, so please keep this in mind. No strapless items that aren’t accompanied by a jacket. No shorts unless we request it for a specific scene. Leggings are not pants! Please always bring comfortable shoes to wear off set. Unless otherwise noted, no open toed or sandal footwear is allowed and it is mandatory that you keep footwear on at all times on set! Always bring seasonally appropriate clothing which is now FALL. And unless otherwise instructed, always bring enough options for two full changes.

 

 

**IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT IF YOU WORKED ON THURSDAY, YOU MUST WEAR THE SAME CLOTHING. WE MUST MAINTAIN CONTINUITY SINCE THIS IS ESSENTIALLY THE SAME DAY!

THESE SCENES TAKE PLACE OUTSIDE. BRING OPTIONS THAT REFLECT THE CURRENT SEASON. BRING AN UNDER-LAYER SUCH AS A LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRT OR THERMAL AND HAVE JACKETS BECAUSE IT WILL BE COLD ONCE THE SUN SETS. **Please also bring a blanket that you can use to sit on as a ‘prop’ for the concert and might also use to cover up with if it gets cold between filming times (there will be an indoor holding area for comfort but when we’re filming you will have to stay outside)
**EVERYONE – In addition to the wardrobe listed for your main role – BRING OPTIONS LISTED for VIPs as we will be pulling VIPs from the group of extras working today!! If you want to be considered as a VIP, bring clothing listed for VIPs!

 

 

Venue Security: Please bring black pants or jeans, black belt, black work shoes. Shirt, jacket, and hat will be provided. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)
Nashville Police: Please bring a white undershirt, black socks, black workwear sneakers that could be worn with a police uniform. The rest will be provided. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)
Roadies/Marcus Roadies: Cool hip backstage workwear. Shades of black, dark grey, browns, deep greens, navy are always good. Dark jeans or pants, shoes and accessories to compliment the look. Bring jacket options. As well as scarves and hats. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)

Sound Techs, Camera Operators, GMA Crew (Grip/Electric) and Construction Workers: Shades of dark grey, browns, deep greens, dark burgundy, deep purples, navy are always good. Bring an option of long sleeve and short sleeve t-shirts for layering (nothing too bright), henleys and thermals, lightweight basic/solid sweaters or pullovers, hoodies, button down long sleeve shirts, Dark jeans or pants, appropriate work footwear. Bring jackets as well. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)

Stage Manager: Nice button down long sleeve dress shirt, fall blazer or cool jacket, t-shirts for layering, lightweight sweaters, jeans or semi-casual pants, shoes and belt to compliment the look. *Same clothes you wore on Thursday! (if you worked)

Backstage VIPs: Rocker gone country
Women – Cool, Hip blouses or tops, jeans or similar pant options, sweaters, tees long and short for layering, leather jackets or jackets/blazers, pumps, booties or similar, jewelry to compliment the look. Scarves and hat options please.

Background Actors’ Rules regarding Photos and Press:

Please remember that all unauthorized on-set photography is forbidden (including from cell phones).

Background actors may not blog or tweet about their experiences on set.

 

·      If a journalist approaches you about your work on the film, please contact the casting office, before you provide any information about the show or your participation in it. 

Ignoring these guidelines will undermine your affiliation with both the production and future local casting.

Everyone should come wearing your favorite 1st outfit and bring 2-3 other complete changes! If you look in your closet and say “ I don’t know if this is what they want me to wear” bring it with you and the Costume Dept. will make the final decision for you.

 

 

As an extra we ask that you bring clothing that will compliment our scenes and distinguish you as the group or role you have been booked for. We ask as always you bring several options. We do not allow any clothing, shoes, and hats with logos, bright white, solid red, or bright/neon colors, or very loud patterns, so please keep this in mind. No strapless items that aren’t accompanied by a jacket. No shorts unless we request it for a specific scene. Leggings are not pants! Please always bring comfortable shoes to wear off set. Unless otherwise noted, no open toed or sandal footwear is allowed and it is mandatory that you keep footwear on at all times on set! Always bring seasonally appropriate clothing which is now FALL. And unless otherwise instructed, always bring enough options for two full changes.

Band on Bus (Exes Band Members):

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU WEAR THE EXACT SAME CLOTHING YOU WORE ON THE BUS LAST FRIDAY! THIS IS A CONTINUITY ISSUE. IT MUST BE THE SAME OUTFIT.
Shep Photo Double: Clothing will be provided. However, please ALSO bring some options of clothing listed for Musician types
Musician Types and Backstage VIPs:
Women - Cool, Hip tops, jeans or leggings, leather jackets or early fall jackets/blazers, pumps, booties or urban boots, jewelry to compliment the look.
Men - Button down shirts, henleys, t-shirts, early fall jackets, jeans, urban boots or cowboy boots, jewelry to compliment the look.
Venue Staff and Venue Security: Wear dark or black jeans (not leggings), black shoes/boots/sneakers, black belt. A T-shirt and hat will be provided.

PAYROLL INFORMATION:

Bring your driver’s license and know your social security number so we can complete paperwork to pay you. YOU MUST HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO WORK WITH US ON SET! If you don’t have a social security number please let us know ASAP as you will NOT be allowed to work!

 

Bring a black or blue ink pen with you to complete your voucher

General Guidelines

 

·      We do not recommend that you bring any expensive or valuable item. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

 

·      Please let us know immediately if your schedule changes and you become unavailable – so that we have time to replace you.

 

·      Please do not approach the actors. They are working. Pictures or video from cell phones are strictly prohibited. Taking a picture or video on set are grounds for immediate dismissal and will not be tolerated. Do not bring cameras of any kind to the set.

 

-       Do not bring anyone with you that was not hired by Extras Casting. Only minors are allowed to bring ONE parent or guardian. Absolutely NO family or friends who aren’t booked in advance can come to set with you!!

 

Background Actors’ Rules regarding Photos and Press:

Please remember that all unauthorized on-set photography is forbidden (including from cell phones).

Background actors may not blog or tweet about their experiences on set.

 

·      If a journalist approaches you about your work on the film, please contact the casting office, before you provide any information about the show or your participation in it. 

 

Ignoring these guidelines will undermine your affiliation with both the production and future local casting.
