If you are scheduled for work on the ABC Television Pilot “AMERICAN CRIME” – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on MONDAY 3/24/14

 

–IF YOU are booked on the ABC series “Nashville” in Nashville, TN or on NBC series “Revolution’ in AUSTIN, TX – these are NOT your booking details! This info is for “American Crime” extras working in Austin, TX ONLY!!–

*make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that you arrive at the check-in area at your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late! You should arrive between 10-15 minutes early! Be sure to take your ID and all of your wardrobe with you to the Extras Holding/Check-in area. *MUST HAVE PROOF of TEXAS RESIDENCY!! (Kids can use parents TX ID for this)

 

Wardrobe Instructions for STAND-ins:

Please bring options of both short and long sleeve shirts in earth tones (browns, greens, grays, blacks, purples, dark golds, blues, etc.). You can wear jeans or comfortable pants and comfortable closed toe shoes (NO flipflops, sandals or heels!!)

 

Wardrobe Instructions:

Waitstaff/busboy: bring khaki pants AND jeans, white t-shirts and shirts and tennis shoes. Please also bring 3 options like below!!!

 

 

Applebee’s customers/big box customers/Russ friends:

Soft colors/casual. Please bring at least 3 outfit options. Jeans/khakis/dockers, tshirts, polos, casual work clothes.

 

 

 

*Bring at least 3 complete outfits.(such as 3 Tops, 3 bottoms, 3 pairs of shoes, 2 jackets, belts, LADIES don’t forget accessories.. and always remember the wardrobe dept LOVES options so the more the better!!)

 

EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!! Please DO NOT show up with wet, unstyled hair or NO makeup – Makeup should not be outlandish or overdone but should look natural and pretty. Men – Facial hair must either be clean-shaven or neatly groomed.

 

 

Be sure to read and follow ALL wardrobe instructions given to the best of your ability.

 

Everyone should come wearing your favorite 1st outfit and bring 2-3 other complete changes! If you look in your closet and say “ I don’t know if this is what they want me to wear” bring it with you and the Costume Dept. will make the final decision for you.

 

***GENERAL INFO:

**EVERYONE MUST WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES!! ABSOLUTELY NO FLIPFLOPS or SANDALS!!

*Never bring clothing with LOGO’s, intense patterns or super bright colors

*Avoid white but don’t bring all black either (unless your character specifies that)

*Bring only clean clothing without damages (unless specifically asked for)

*DO NOT bring dirty/damaged clothing or clothing that DOES NOT fit you.

*Make sure you bring clothes that really fit you. 

*AND put together the outfit you feel is most appropriate for the scene and that you feel good in and wear that here (of course also bring options)!

 

*Bring your options on hanger or in a suitcase (NOT in a dirty wrinkled ball)

-       Do not bring anyone with you that was not hired by Extras Casting. Only minors are allowed to bring ONE parent or guardian. Absolutely NO family or friends who aren’t booked in advance can come to set with you! THIS IS A JOB and you should treat it as such!!

 

Background Actors’ Rules regarding Photos and Press

·      Please remember that all unauthorized on-set photography is forbidden (including from cell phones).

·      Background actors may not blog or tweet about their experiences on set.

·      If a journalist approaches you about your work on the film, please contact the casting office, before you provide any information about the show or your participation in it.

Things To Avoid: Bringing the proper clothing not only helps us but it will help your chances of getting more screen time. Read your characters description and only bring clothing that fits your scene.

Gina’s Assistant, Script Supervisor, Hair and Make-up Stylists: Please bring clothing on the darker side but your choice should fairly hip. Nice jeans, well fitted blouse, casual dresses, skirts, etc. Also remember to

Cotton cargo pants, baggy pants, muscle shirts with hoodies on top, t-shirts, no v necks, NO LOGOS, NO NEON COLORS . Olive green, grey, camo, as well as some solid colors please.

For ladies:

 

tanks, cutoff shorts, leggings, jean/casual skirts, jumpsuits, overalls, crop tops, in addition to jackets, etc.

For all:

Baseball caps and beanies, but no logos please!  Jean jackets, denim vests, hoodies are great.  Don’t forget your accessories!

–If you are scheduled to work on the NBC series “Revolution” in Austin, TX – These are NOT your details! These are for the “Nashville” extras ONLY!–

 

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for a MINIMUM of 12 hours from your call time. Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.

EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!! Please DO NOT show up with wet, un-styled hair and no makeup!! Ladies – Makeup should not be outlandish or overdone. Men – Facial hair must either be clean-shaven or neatly groomed. Radio Execs and Programmers: This is a heavyweight radio biz meeting. Bring professional options. Suits, ties, shirt suits w/blouse, jewelry etc. Make sure everything fits you well and you have all the bits you need to complete your outfits. Do the best you can please! Please do not simply not show up because you don’t think you have th right clothing – you will also be working in other scenes so TRY to put together this look!! Receptionists: Business attire with accessories.  (*you MUST also bring clothing for the Bar Patrons and Fitness Class!)

 

Business Men: Suits, button fronts, ties, dress shoes, belt and socks  (*you MUST also bring clothing for the Bar Patrons!)

 

Bartender: Alissa-wear what you would normally wear to work

 

Cocktail Waitress: Bring black pants/shirt, black shoes, black belt, black button front shirt and a white button front shirt. (*you MUST also bring clothing for Street Pedestrians and Fitness Class!)

 

Bar Patrons: Bring upscale options. This is a restaurant that the mayor is scene at often. Classy and conservative. Blazers, Suits, ties, button down shirts, dress shoes, socks, etc, button front shirts, slacks, scarves, all accessories, under garments, etc. (*you MUST also bring clothing for the Fitness Class!)

 

Street Pedestrians: Casual outdoor wear. Light jackets, sweaters, purses, etc (*EVERYONE should bring options for this role!)

 

AA Members: Bring casual options. Jeans, khakis, t-shirts, plaid button fronts, sweatshirts, sweaters, etc

 

Gym Goers, Hot Guys & Girls Working Out, Fitness Class:  Bring workout options that you would wear to an upscale and hip gym. You will be working out in the scene. Bring proper shoes and under garments. This gym is probably a good pick up place. It’s gonna be hard but do your best to avoid logos. (*ALL Bar Patrons, Receptionists, Businessmen and younger more fit Radio Execs & AA Members should bring options for this role!)

If y’all have any old shirts ( not white) or jeans / casual slacks AND any western or work boots that you don’t mind getting intentionally aged ( made to look older and dirtier PERMANENTLY) we’d love it if you would bring them the day you work, as a potential costume choice.  No bright colors or bold patterns

 

 

 

 

HAIR & MAKEUP FOR EVERYONE – Men  that are booked as  TOWNSPEOPLE : DO NOT SHAVE!!!! You should have any stubble or facial hair that you wake up with!PATRIOTS – MUST BE CLEAN SHAVEN !!  Women – NO MAKEUP other than a light base/foundation (NO eye shadow, NO mascara, NO blush, NO eyeliner)!!!
