“Revolution” FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for THURSDAY 7/25/13

If you are scheduled for work on the NBC Television Series “Revolution” – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on THURSDAY 7/25/13.  –updated as of 08:26am

 

**All call times are subject to change again so YOU MUST RE-CHECK THIS PAGE AGAIN on THURSDAY before you leave for work!!! Make sure to REFRESH your browser!! We are not responsible if you show up too early or too late because you did not double check for you FINAL confirmed Call Time!! CHECK BACK!!!**

 

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for a MINIMUM of 12 hours from your call time. Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.

 

**Please POST your first & last name at the end of this post so that we know you picked up your booking details. Everyone has been Pre-fit for working this day & we are not overbooked so it’s important that we know EVERYONE got their information and will be there!!  Not posting does NOT mean that you don’t have to show up!! We will be expecting you whether you post or not, it’s just helpful to us to know that you got your details!!

 

We will not be able to replace you at the last minute since you were assigned a specific costume based on your sizes we have given to or wardrobe dept., so we are counting on you!

 

Filming will take place rain, shine, wind, etc.– regardless of the weather or early call time you are expected to be at work on set!!!

Directions from the downtown Austin area:

- Take IH35 Southbound (approx. 2.9 mi)

- Take EXIT 230 for TX-71 toward Bastrop (approx. approx. 1.3 mi)

- Take exit toward MONTOPOLIS DR. (approx. 1.5 mi)

- Turn RIGHT onto CHAPMAN LN (approx. 0.5 mi) – this will come up quickly so get to the right ASAP!

- Turn LEFT onto BURLESON RD (approx. 0.7 mi)

- Turn RIGHT onto PROMONTORY POINT (approx 0.1 mi)

- Turn LEFT onto CAVEN RD

- Turn LEFT onto FLEMING CT (approx 0.2 mi)

 

- Look for the yellow signs with black arrows that say NANO. Park as directed and follow signs to the Extras Holding area

- You will check in with Adam or someone from the AD Dept.

*make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that  you arrive at the check-in area at your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late! You should arrive between 10-15 minutes early! Be sure to take your ID and all of your wardrobe with you to the Extras Holding/Check-in area. *MUST HAVE PROOF of TEXAS RESIDENCY!! (Kids can use parents TX ID for this)

 

Wardrobe Instructions for STAND-ins:

Please bring options of both short and long sleeve shirts in earth tones (browns, greens, grays, blacks, purples, dark golds, blues, etc.). You can wear jeans or comfortable pants and comfortable closed toe shoes (NO flipflops, sandals or heels!!)

 

Wardrobe Instructions for ALL EXTRAS:

Costumes either will be or have already been selected for you and will be on set when you arrive. The only thing you need to do is follow any instructions you received at your fitting (if you came to one) and you MUST wear underwear. If you did not come to a fitting, wardrobe will be provided on set.

Remember if you are booked as a PAID EXTRA – you need to be available and on set for a MINIMUM of approx. 12–13 consecutive hours from your start time (ADULTS ONLY – MINORS under 18 can only work between 8-10 hours depending on their age). Please Report Rain or Shine to the set.   If it is raining, we will still report and wait until the rain stops to film.

- Look for the yellow signs with black arrows that say ‘NV’. Park as directed in the dirt Crew Parking lot across the street and follow signs to the Extras Holding area. You will be walking across the street so be sure to bring with you all of your wardrobe options and your ID from the car to check-in. DO NOT PARK in the office parking lot!!

- You will check in with Justin from the AD Dept

 

**VOLUNTEERS DO NOT PARK AT THIS LOCATION!!! You MUST find free on-street parking on you rown around Centennial Park/The Parthenon and walk to the Event Pavilion!!

Be sure to read and follow ALL wardrobe instructions given to the best of your ability.

 

Everyone should come wearing your favorite 1st outfit and bring 2-3 other complete changes! If you look in your closet and say “ I don’t know if this is what they want me to wear” bring it with you and the Costume Dept. will make the final decision for you.

 

***Please avoid bright white, logos, neon or really bright clothing, stripes and big prints (anything that could be distracting on camera).

 

BARTENDER & WAIT STAFF: should wear what they normally wear to work.

 

HOSTESS: please wear a nice upscale classy black dress (if you have one), otherwise bring options of black skirts/black dress pants and nice blouses as well as a couple other nice dresses. *YOU WILL ALSO WORK AS CONCERT AUDIENCE so you MUST BRING ADDITIONAL CHANGES OF THOSE TYPES OF CLOTHING!!!

 

RESTAURANT PATRONS: should bring clothing choices of what they would wear out to a nice dinner, i.e. “dressy casual, or business casual.”  The location is in a steakhouse called Jimmy Kelly’s (in case some of you are familiar with that place), which is a traditional, upscale steakhouse. MEN: wear a suit (tie optional), khaki pants or nice, dark jeans with a dress shirt or polo shirt and a blazer or sportcoat.  No ratty jeans or t-shirts or sandals.  Shoe choices could be cowboy boots, casual loafers, dress shoes if in a suit.  NO sneakers. LADIES: should bring choices- dresses, slacks, nice blouses, nice jeans with a nice blouse (no t-shirts), boots or heels (not cocktail dressy but a more conservative heel if going that route), or nice more dressy sandals.  Bring jewelry and accessories- scarves.

For men and women- choices are key! If you aren’t sure, bring it and let’s have a look.

Please avoid all black or all white.  A little of either is fine.  Also avoid really bright colors or very high contrast prints, stripes, small dot prints and please no logos.  A muted, blended soft color palate is what we strive for.   **ALL RESTAURANT PATRONS WILL ALSO WORK AS CONCERT AUDIENCE so you MUST BRING ADDITIONAL CHANGES OF THOSE TYPES OF CLOTHING!!!

 

SECURITY GUARDS: bring black pants, black belt and a black shoes or sneakers.  We will provide a ‘security’ shirt. Please ALSO bring changes of Concert Audience clothing in case the Security shirts do not fit you.

 

ROADIES/BACKSTAGE CREW, SOUNDBOARD OPERATOR, STILL PHOTOGRAPHERS, CAMERA OPERATORS:  should wear jeans and dark (black, grey, dark green, dark burgandy, navy,etc.) solid t-shirts, polo shirts or collared button front shirts, and either sneakers, work boots, cowboy boots… whatever would be comfortable to work backstage or as a roadie (i.e. moving, lifting equipment).  However, keep in mind this is for a big performance so bring choices of ‘nicer’ roadie / backstage wear.  Nicer jeans, and nicer shirts, etc. would be the choice here.  Please no logos on t-shirts.

 

ON-AIR REPORTERS: either a suit or a nice, fun, hip or trendy look depending on personal style.  Think Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood or local network reporters.  Depending on age and appearance bring choices accordingly.  Again please no all black or all white, high contrast prints or super bright or neon colors, or logos.  Muted colors are best here. Everyone should have AT LEAST (1) suit or upscale business attire option!! LOOK SHARP and PROFESSIONAL!!! Very well put together!

 

CONCERT AUDIENCE/FANS: please bring choices of what you might normally wear to an outdoor concert to see your favorite band play for a record release.  NO logos please.  Please bring choices and we can pick out an outfit for you from that.

 

 

EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!! Please DO NOT show up with wet, unstyled hair. Ladies – Makeup should not be outlandish or overdone. Men – Facial hair must either be clean-shaven or neatly groomed. Don’t look too scruffy!!

Wardrobe Instructions for STAND-ins:

Please bring options of both short and long sleeve shirts in earth tones (browns, greens, grays, blacks, purples, dark golds, blues, etc.). You can wear jeans or comfortable pants and comfortable closed toe shoes (NO flipflops, sandals or heels!!)

 

Wardrobe Instructions for ALL EXTRAS:

Costumes either will be or have already been selected for you and will be on set when you arrive. The only thing you need to do is follow any instructions you received at your fitting (if you came to one) and you MUST wear underwear. If you did not come to a fitting, wardrobe will be provided on set.

Remember if you are booked as a PAID EXTRA – you need to be available and on set for a MINIMUM of approx. 12–13 consecutive hours from your start time (ADULTS ONLY – MINORS under 18 can only work between 8-10 hours depending on their age). If you are scheduled for work on the NBC Television Series “Revolution” – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on TUESDAY 7/23/13.  –updated as of 11:33pm

 

–IF YOU are booked on the ABC series “Nashville” in Nashville, TN – these are NOT your booking details!–

 

**All times are subject to change so YOU absolutely MUST RE-CHECK THIS PAGE BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR WORK on Tuesday!! Make sure to REFRESH your browser!! We are not responsible if you show up too early or too late because you did not double check for you FINAL confirmed Call Time!! CHECK BACK!!!**

 

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for a MINIMUM of 12 hours from your call time. Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.

 

**Please POST your first & last name at the end of this post so that we know you picked up your booking details. Everyone has been Pre-fit for working this day & we are not overbooked so it’s important that we know EVERYONE got their information and will be there!!  Not posting does NOT mean that you don’t have to show up!! We will be expecting you whether you post or not, it’s just helpful to us to know that you got your details!!

 

We will not be able to replace you at the last minute since you were assigned a specific costume based on your sizes we have given to or wardrobe dept., so we are counting on you!

TOWNSPEOPLE:

If y’all have western / cowboy boots that you don’t mind getting intentionally aged ( made to look older and dirtier PERMANENTLY) we’d love it if you would bring them with you, the day you work, as a potential costume choice. Also bring shoes for you’re personal comfort!

 

HAIR & MAKEUP FOR EVERYONE – Men: DO NOT SHAVE!!!! You should have any stubble or facial hair that you wake up with!  Women – NO MAKEUP other than a light base/foundation (NO eye shadow, NO mascara, NO blush, NO eyeliner)!!! Hair should not be blow-dried and should be left natural!
