“Boulevard” FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for SATURDAY 6/15/13

If you are scheduled for work on the Feature Film “Boulevard” – Here are your FINAL CALL TIMES & BOOKING DETAILS for work on SATURDAY 6/15/13. –updated as 10:28am

 

–**EVERYONE WHO WORKED ON FRIDAY NIGHT 6/14/13 (except R. Hill) ARE RE-CALLED FOR MATCHING SHOTS TONIGHT!!! PLEASE be sure to WEAR THE EXACT SAME CLOTHING YOU WORE LAST NIGHT and bring your additional changes with you!!**__

 

**All times are subject to change so YOU absolutely MUST RE-CHECK THIS PAGE AGAIN BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR WORK that evening!! Make sure to REFRESH your browser!! We are not responsible if you show up too early or too late because you did not double check for you FINAL confirmed Call Time!! CHECK BACK!!!**

 

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for a MINIMUM of 10 hours from your call time. Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.

 

**Please POST your first & last name at the end of this post so that we know you picked up your booking details. There are only a few very special “Director sselected” people working this day & we are not overbooked so it’s important that we know EVERYONE got their information and will be there!!  Not posting does NOT mean that you don’t have to show up!! We will be expecting you whether you post or not, it’s just helpful to us to know that you got your details!!

 

Filming will take place rain, shine, wind, snow or freeze – regardless of the weather or early call time you are expected to be at work on set!!!

Crew Parking for ALL Extras and Stand-ins is located at:

Vacant State Lot

1030 Charlotte Ave. (at 11th & Charlotte)

Nashville, TN 37219

- Look for the yellow signs with black arrows. Park as directed and follow signs to the Extras Holding area

- You will check in with Alyssa or someone from the AD Dept.

*make sure to arrive in enough time to park so that  you arrive at the check-in area at your call time! If you are just pulling in to the parking lot at your call time, you WILL be late! You should arrive between 10-15 minutes early! Be sure to take your ID and all of your wardrobe with you to the Extras Holding/Check-in area.

 

Wardrobe Instructions for EVERYONE: GENERAL RULES:

WE ARE NOT USING ANY STRIPES OR PLAID PATTERNS

NO LOGOS – SPORTS TEAMS, NIKE, PUMA, ADDIDAS ETC.

NO FLOURESCENT COLORS

NO BRIGHT RED, ORANGE, BLUE, YELLOW, GREEN

Toned down palette – NO bright whites, NO overly hot colors of red, pink, yellow, orange.

 

GOOD COLORS to have are: “EARTH TONES” – greys, navy blues, greens, browns, camel, eggplant, burgundy, etc.

 

These are the most important scenes of the movie for our Director so please really do your best to become the character/role that you are playing (without seeming over the top and not natural). 

 

PEDESTRIANS & DRIVERS with CARS:  Please wear your first choice and bring 2-3 additional changes of: Just casual. it should feel a bit wintery…So light weight jackets…Everybody should be covered with something: cardigans, denim jackets, blazers, hoodies, sweaters… A diversity of people. Muted earth tones dark colors. Nothing bright. No bold patterns, no labels. It is the beginning of the movie so it should feel kind of dark and sad, plain. (**YOU WILL ALL ALSO WORK LATER as other characters so follow wardrobe notes for your specific role also!) BRING OPTIONS!

 

HOOKERS & DRAG/TRANS HOOKERS: Please come dressed and ready in your favorite look and bring 2-3 additional complete changes (including shoes & accessories) of:  Heels, heels, heels!! sexy boots, fishnets, tight spandex clothes, latex, bras, sexy short denim skirts, sexy tight shorts, se- through tops, leggings, animal prints, short fur coats, etc. Sell it!!  The feeling about these few scenes is that it should look real and not too ”costumy”. So Drag/Trans – this is not a drag queen show. The make up should feel real, not overly done, this is not a show it is real life. So please tone down everything and keep it simple. It is mostly the make up our costumer is a bit worried about. A bit of drama is fine but let’s keep it slightly on the classy and not get too carried away. BRING OPTIONS!

 

MALE HUSTLERS: Please come dressed and ready in your favorite look and bring 2-3 additional complete changes of: Thermals, tank tops, old jeans, old cargo pants, cool belts, mesh see through tops, boots, sneakers, hoodies, track suits, baggy pants, oversized shirts, animal print shirts, light weight jackets, leather jackets, leather pants, layers of long sleeve t shirt and short sleeve t shirt, athletic wear but no Adidas or Nike logo, Vintage old shirts, Thrift store/Good will type of clothes. Sexy skinny jeans, shredded denim pants. Oversized pants, sleeveless shirts and jackets. You should look sexy but like you are living on the street. BRING OPTIONS!

 

VAGRANTS: Please come dressed and ready in your favorite look and bring 2-3 additional complete changes of: old dirty clothes. the oldest clothes you have. Homeless, old shredded dark color type of clothes. Lots of layers. Long sleeve shirts, tattered jeans or sweat pants, dirty jean jackets or army green overcoats, messy hair, unshaven, old hole-y sweaters, run down dirty hats and scarves, etc. LAYERS! BRING OPTIONS! (although you are playing homeless and are meant to look dirty, please still shower and don’t go that far into the role as to come smelling dirty!! LOL!!)

 

LADY IN PINK: please follow any instructions that you were given during your wardrobe fitting

 

LADY in PINK’s BOYFRIEND: Please come dressed and ready in your favorite look and bring 2-3 additional complete changes of: Casual mid season clothing but on the Wintery side. light weight jackets. Earth Tones muted dark colors…nothing bright, no labels, no bold patterns…Casual. Old jeans, old jackets/ shirts/ pants. it should feel a bit on the “Ghetto” Side as if it was a bit of a scary neighborhood where people don t usually drive through unless they are looking for trouble

 

RUNAWAYS: Please come dressed and ready in your favorite look and bring 2-3 additional complete changes of: Casual mid season clothing but on the Wintery side. light weight jackets. Earth Tones muted dark colors…nothing bright, no labels, no bold patterns…Casual. Old jeans, old jackets/ shirts/ pants. it should feel a bit on the “Ghetto” Side as if it was a bit of a scary neighborhood where people don t usually drive through unless they are looking for trouble. Ladies can bring some options that are maybe a bit sexier casual as if you may have had to resort to prostitution to stay alive.

 

RACHEL B: we know that our Director LOVED the dress you wore to the open casting call so please come wearing that dress and bring additional similar options, but also bring a couple choices of items listed for the Runaways.

 

UNIFORM COP: please have black socks, black shoes or work boots, black belt and a white or gret undershirt. Uniform will be provided for you.

 

B-BOYS: Please wear your first choice and bring 2-3 additional changes of old, casual Hip-Hop clothing (NO logos) that you might wear if you were break dancing on the boulevard with some similar type guys. Maybe gang stuff, maybe just hip hop loose fitting clothing. Gloves, tennis shoes, ball caps, bandanas, etc.

 

JOHNS:  Please wear your first choice and bring 2-3 additional changes of: Just casual. it should feel a bit wintery…So light weight jackets…Everybody should be covered with something: cardigans, denim jackets, blazers, hoodies, sweaters… A diversity of people. Muted earth tones dark colors. Nothing bright. No bold patterns, no labels. Bring some choices of the character (guys cruising for male/female prostitutes) and who you really are (maybe you are a banker hitting the street looking for after work fun, mayeb you are a yuppie/preppie who has never done this before and are out of place, myabe you are a total sleazeball that regularly cruises the boulevard – have fun and bring a few “normal guy” options and a couple “character” options.

 

Be sure to read and follow ALL wardrobe instructions given to the best of your ability.

 

Everyone should come wearing your favorite 1st outfit and bring 2-3 other complete changes! If you look in your closet and say “ I don’t know if this is what they want me to wear” bring it with you and the Costume Dept. will make the final decision for you.

 

EVERYONE MUST COME HAIR & MAKEUP READY as appropriate for your specific character type!!!!

Remember if you are booked as a PAID EXTRA – you need to be available and on set for a MINIMUM of approx. 12–13 consecutive hours from your start time (ADULTS ONLY – MINORS under 18 can only work between 8-10 hours depending on their age). Please let us know immediately if your schedule changes and you become unavailable – so that we have time to replace you.

Please Report Rain or Shine to the set.   If it is raining, we will still report and wait until the rain stops to film.

PAYROLL INFORMATION (for the PAID BOOKED EXTRAS ONLY!):

Bring your driver’s license and know your social security number so we can complete paperwork to pay you. YOU MUST HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO WORK WITH US ON SET! If you don’t have a social security number please let us know ASAP!

·      Please do not approach the actors.  They are working.  Pictures or video from cell phones are strictly prohibited.  Taking a picture or video on set are grounds for immediate dismissal and will not be tolerated.  Do not bring cameras of any kind to the set.

-       Do not bring anyone with you that was not hired by Extras Casting or who has not registered as a Volunteer. Only minors are allowed to bring ONE parent or guardian. Absolutely NO family or friends who aren’t booked in advance can come to set with you!

Background Actors’ Rules regarding Photos and Press

·      Please remember that all unauthorized on-set photography is forbidden (including from cell phones).

·      Background actors may not blog or tweet about their experiences on set.

·      If a journalist approaches you about your work on the film, please contact the casting office, before you provide any information about the show or your participation in it.

Ignoring these guidelines will undermine your affiliation with both the production and future local casting.

(**YOU WILL ALL ALSO WORK LATER as other characters so follow wardrobe notes for your specific role also!) BRING OPTIONS!

 

HOOKERS & DRAG/TRANS HOOKERS: Please come dressed and ready in your favorite look and bring 2-3 additional complete changes (including shoes & accessories) of:  Heels, heels, heels!! sexy boots, fishnets, tight spandex clothes, latex, bras, sexy short denim skirts, sexy tight shorts, se- through tops, leggings, animal prints, short fur coats, etc. Sell it!!  The feeling about these few scenes is that it should look real and not too ”costumy”. So Drag/Trans – this is not a drag queen show. The make up should feel real, not overly done, this is not a show it is real life. So please tone down everything and keep it simple. It is mostly the make up our costumer is a bit worried about. A bit of drama is fine but let’s keep it slightly on the classy and not get too carried away. BRING OPTIONS!

 

MALE HUSTLERS: Please come dressed and ready in your favorite look and bring 2-3 additional complete changes of: Thermals, tank tops, old jeans, old cargo pants, cool belts, mesh see through tops, boots, sneakers, hoodies, track suits, baggy pants, oversized shirts, animal print shirts, light weight jackets, leather jackets, leather pants, layers of long sleeve t shirt and short sleeve t shirt, athletic wear but no Adidas or Nike logo, Vintage old shirts, Thrift store/Good will type of clothes. Sexy skinny jeans, shredded denim pants. Oversized pants, sleeveless shirts and jackets. You should look sexy but like you are living on the street. BRING OPTIONS!

 

VAGRANTS: Please come dressed and ready in your favorite look and bring 2-3 additional complete changes of: old dirty clothes. the oldest clothes you have. Homeless, old shredded dark color type of clothes. Lots of layers. Long sleeve shirts, tattered jeans or sweat pants, dirty jean jackets or army green overcoats, messy hair, unshaven, old hole-y sweaters, run down dirty hats and scarves, etc. LAYERS! BRING OPTIONS! (although you are playing homeless and are meant to look dirty, please still shower and don’t go that far into the role as to come smelling dirty!! LOL!!)

 

LADY IN PINK: please follow any instructions that you were given during your wardrobe fitting

RACHEL B: we know that our Director LOVED the dress you wore to the open casting call so please come wearing that dress and bring additional similar options, but also bring a couple choices of items listed for the Runaways.

 

UNIFORM COP: please have black socks, black shoes or work boots, black belt and a white or gret undershirt. Uniform will be provided for you.

 

B-BOYS: Please wear your first choice and bring 2-3 additional changes of old, casual Hip-Hop clothing (NO logos) that you might wear if you were break dancing on the boulevard with some similar type guys. Maybe gang stuff, maybe just hip hop loose fitting clothing. Gloves, tennis shoes, ball caps, bandanas, etc.

 

JOHNS:  Please wear your first choice and bring 2-3 additional changes of: Just casual. it should feel a bit wintery…So light weight jackets…Everybody should be covered with something: cardigans, denim jackets, blazers, hoodies, sweaters… A diversity of people. Bring some choices of the character (guys cruising for male/female prostitutes) and who you really are (maybe you are a banker hitting the street looking for after work fun, mayeb you are a yuppie/preppie who has never done this before and are out of place, myabe you are a total sleazeball that regularly cruises the boulevard – have fun and bring a few “normal guy” options and a couple “character” options.

If you were booked – you are already CONFIRMED so you are expected to show up!!! You are also expected to be available to stay on set and work for a MINIMUM of 10 hours from your call time. Occasionally it may be less than that but you should not expect to or ask to leave earlier than you are wrapped!! Doing so will be cause for not being booked in the future.
